Basic information

A great combination of two games - Shuffleboard and Curling. You can use one board that is 180 cm long (composed of three boards) for both games. The game is ideal for the table or floor. The game is suitable for young and old. Everyone can "throw" the stones, or rather slide them.

• The set for the game includes:
  
  • Playing board - composed of three parts (each 60x40 cm) that are joined together by a magnet on the underside. Length of assembled board: 180 cm. Width: 40 cm.
    • Smaller table? No problem - just fold two boards and you can play. There is a stop at the end so the stones don't fall on the floor.
  • 16 playing stones (8 of each colour) - 4 stones are used for Shuffleboard, 8 stones are used for Curling.
  • Bags for playing stones.
  • Sponge for wiping the playing board.
  • Game rules - Czech as a matter of course, and also EN and DE.
• The playing board is made of plastic (3 mm thick), so it is quite sturdy. A flat surface under the board is needed - ideal for a table, floor, terrace, or even a carpet - but not one with a very high pile.
• The playing stones have a ball on the bottom - see photo, so they slide perfectly on the playing board.

Game review

Simplified version of the game (because it does not include a wooden table, for example), but it is immediately like 2 games in one - Curling and Shuffleboard.

Expert opinion

This game surprised me a lot. On the one hand, Shuffleboard, which is popular in the Netherlands, is not very well known here, so I didn't know the game very well either - these lesser-known games always have something about them. But mainly, I was surprised at how simple a game can look and still keep you entertained for a really long time. 2 games in one - Shuffleboard - you play for points, or Curling - you play for the target. I like the elegant joining of the boards (with magnets), which are really nice and smooth, but especially the stones, which slide beautifully across the board. All you need is a larger table or, ideally, a floor where you can start playing right away. In my opinion, this game definitely gets a thumbs up for its design. Nice game.
